| A post-procedure occlusive ointment that accelerates reepithelialization of wounds and provides anti-inflammatory benefits following laser resurfacing, aggressive chemical peels, dermabrasions and facelifts. Patients can expect little or no pain or oozing and crusting, as well as a significant reduction in erythema, edema, skin erosionitching, dryness and tightness. Physicians report that when Cx™ 10 is used properly by patients, and particularly within the first 48 hours, recovery time can be cut by as much as 50%. They further report that less antibiotics are required during healing. Use of Cx™ 10 reduces the chance of postinflammatory hyperpigmentation, acne or milia and hypertrophic scarring after reepithelialization occurs. Cx™ 10 also soothes radiation burn and alleviates chronic erythema and pruritus. Non-steroidal, can be prescribed for prolonged periods.Directions for use:Post Procedure Care—Apply layer whenever treated areas feel dry (every 2–5 hours). Reapply during the night whenever needed. In the unlikely event of crust formation, gently soak off crust using water, water/vinegar, saline or dilute acetic acid and a soft cloth; then apply Cx™10. A cold pack or ice in a soft cloth may be applied for 15 minutes before each rinse. Important: Keep skin moist with Cx™ 10 at all times for increased comfort and to speed healing. |
