These beautiful, hand-crafted papers are made from a remarkable, renewable resource known as the Mulberry tree. Hundreds of years ago, a mountain tribe in Burma discovered a unique bark that peeled from the trunk of a broad-leafed tree at the end of every rainy season. From the bark of the Mulberry tree, and other naturally discarded products of the forest, they began making paper. Today, the people in Thailand continue the tradition of handmade Mulberry paper by combining the leaves and bark with natural dyes and laying the paper in the sun to dry! Use these assorted papers for cards, picture frames, boxes, home accessories, custom books and much more. The only limit is your imagination! Themed packs contain six 10 1/2 in. x 14 1.2 in. sheets (4 solids, 1 batik, 1 floral) and two 12 in. x 19 1/2 in. sheets of folded Thai tissue.
