The range of 75 colours, offers the widest colour spectrum, maximum permanence, optimum brilliance and intensity of colour plus unsurpassed covering power and tinting strength. The majority of colours contain only a single pigment resulting in cleaner, brighter mixes.The range has been formulated to a soft, buttery consistency, as preferred by artists, while still providing excellent retention of brush stroke marks. Finity colours remain workable on the palette slightly longer than other acrylic colours and dry to a uniform non-tacky satin finish across the entire range. Finity acrylics show minimal colour shift from the wet colour to dry finish. The versatility of this colour range can be further extended by the use of Winsor & Newton Acrylic Mediums and Texture Gels. All colours in the range are classified permanent for artists' use.A wide variety of supports can be used, including canvas, paper, wood, degreased leather, in fact anything which is not greasy or too glossy. Surfaces can be painted on directly or primed with any of the range of Winsor & Newton Gesso Primers. Surfaces prepared exclusively for oil painting should not be used for acrylics.As with all acrylics, the colour is water soluble when wet and becomes water resistant when dry. All equipment should be thoroughly washed after use before the colour dries. |
