| Molding Paste - Made with white marble dust, it dries to a hard opaque white surface. It can be used for texturing and palette knifed-out, it resembles a fresco surface. Used as a ground to paint on, the hardness will keep the paint sitting on the surface and is totally non-absorbent.Hard Molding Paste - Provides the hardest opaque, matte finish. It blends well with Golden Acrylic Colors. Hard molding paste is useful for creating tough, durable finishes. Self-leveling for smooth hard surfaces or rounded peaks. The dried film can be sanded with hand or power tools.Light Molding Paste - Offers dramatic weight reduction in thick texture. Its' unique whiteness creates extraordinary qualities when mixed with color. A "space age" microscopic air bubble replaces the marble dust in regular molding paste making it 50% lighter. This material gives the light molding paste a "fluffy" consistency similar to cake frosting or whipped cream. When dry, it has an oddly absorbent quality that allows for some richly saturated washes of color.Extra Heavy Molding Paste - A blend of Extra Heavy Gel and Molding Paste, dries to a satin, semi opaque finish. Blends well with colors. Excellent for increasing viscosity and building surfaces. |
