| For those unfamiliar with spaetzle they are small cylindrical dumplings that are a southwest German specialty frequently an accompaniment for roasts stews and fricassees. Tender and moist similar to pasta but with a rich and toothsome quality all their own spaetzle can be made by cutting flattened dough with a warm damp knife but most will find this device far easier and more efficient.
