| Standing on the shore and looking out at the sea you see bands of color as the ocean gets deeper and deeper. At first there is the soft green shade of shallow water that is warmed by the summer sun; then it progresses to a current of darker blue green a bit colder and deeper; then at last is the deep blue sea. This is the progression of color that makes up Ocean Breeze a banded collection shown on a Contempo shape. Three plateaus or ridges are sculpted into the rim of the dinnerware each holding a single shade creating a dramatic evolution of color.Stoneware |
