In the 1920s Nils Landberg started his career at Orrefors working in the drawing office at the factory. He was promoted to designer and is best remembered for his elegant "Tulip" vases whose long stems challenged the abilities of master glass blowers. Prelude s sensuously graceful contours are accented by a band of wedge cuts that create prismatic sparkle.
