| In the tiny town of Thiers France Sabatier knives are still crafted using the process originally developed by Bonnett Sabatier back in 1834. Every Sabatier knife is carefully hot-drop forged from a single piece of surgical grade steel then tempered to provide it with both flexibility and hardness. Finally each blade is then taper ground by master craftsmen until the strongest sharpest cutting edge is achieved. Three heavy-duty rivets secure the handle to the full tang and then a special high grade polymer is molded over the tang and rivets. Next this is hand ground to the exact shape of the handle. Every kitchen needs a paring knife for small mincing jobs garnishing and peeling. High carbon stainless steel with 54/56 hardness rating on the Rockwell testing scale Hand honed and tapered cutting edge with optimally weighted bolster Fully forged single piece construction Full tang triple riveted design with high grade ergonomic polymer handle Hand wash Maintain knife edge with regular use of sharpening steel to realign the edge of blade Store in knife block roll tray or on magnetic rack to protect edges Limited Lifetime Warranty |
