A lovely raised design of graceful reeds and a pair of dragonflies animates this cast iron teapot glazed in deep indigo blue. Known as "tetsubin" in Japan these traditional cast iron teapots were originally used for brewing tea over an open flame. They have since evolved as tea servers of an extremely decorative nature.
