Item # ES1804Dickens began writing his "Little Carol" in October 1843 and finished it by the end of November in time to be published for Christmas. In the first few days of its release the book sold six thousand copies and its popularity continued togrow. A Christmas Carol has become a Christmas tradition and is easily his best-known book. The new selection for this year features Scrooge in his famous nightclothes when he is roused from sleep by the visitors of the night.

Scrooge is the fifth of the Christmas Carol Series and is limited to 7500 pieces.
