Item # 112401In 1928, RCMP constable Henry Larsen was a crew member on the RCMP patrol vessel St. Roch, but his dream was to captain St. Roch through the Northwest Passage. It took 14 years for Henry Larsen's dream to come true. Henry Larsen navigated the 7,295 miles of the Passage in only 86 days. On its arrival in Vancouver October 16, 1944, St. Roch became the only ship in the world to travel the Northwest Passage in both directions.
