Item # 6259 2nd Edition in the "Romantic Germany" Collector's Series. King Ludwig, most famous for commissioning the Neuschwanstein Castle, wanted yet another castle to be named "Falkenstein". A site was selected in Bavaria, with sketches made and ground cleared for the construction. But all was halted and never restarted when Ludwig met an untimely death by drowning in Lake Starnberg. Limited Edition of 9,000 pieces. Comes with 'Certificate of Authenticity'. Front and side view provided. Price reflects one item only."
