Item # HL174 This piece is dedicated to Ida Lewis, who kept the flame from 1857 to 1911, and whose numerous rescues earned her national recognition as the ''Heroine of Lime Rock.'' The lighthouse was renamed Ida Lewis Rock Light in 1924. Retired in December 1999.
