The Hancock Summer Rental is situated on the waterfront. It was built recently with the intent of renting it out to the increasing number of summer guests. The Hancocks were the first to rent it, and have been coming back ever since.

While its fieldstone and cedar-shake exterior has the charm of an older structure, its interior boasts every modern convenience, including indoor plumbing! Outside, the bath house is convenient for changing out of wet swimming dresses. Mr. Hancock favors the Adirondack chair on the veranda, while Mrs. Hancock favors the balcony overlooking the water. It's perfect for watching little Annie and Sada build a sand castle on the beach, while Nathan practices for the big barrel race.
