Gourmet Gazebo

Item # PXGD2 Pastoral picnicking is the central theme of this tile figurine, but two tortoises disrupt the tranquility. One can be seen carrying off a cup and saucer on his back. Notice "Eat Me" atop the cake, a reference to the Mad Hatter's tea party. In the gazebo, a woman with binoculars mysteriously stares outwards, while to her left, Martin Perry's dog Alfie dreams of lunch. Alfie surely has a palatial kennel. His residence at top left comes replete with TV aerial, bone and bowl. Another flower from Byron's home garden appears in the foreground.
