| Item # 70001This hollow resin, decorative decoy, based on David Miller's original wood carving, is inspired by vintage ice-fishing decoys; is hand-painted by our master artisans; features real tin, hand-painted fins (just like the antiques!); and is stamped with the series number, the Boyds Paw Print, and the Wills Creek(tm) hallmark-a Cattail! The brown trout, a European relative of the Atlantic salmon, arrived in North America in 1883 and is found in Lakes Michigan, Huron, Ontario, Erie, and Superior. The brown trout's coloration combines a light brown speckled back with a silvery belly and sides. It grows to a length of 24 inches and can weight from two to eight pounds. |
