Item # 155763 Nearly thirty years ago, a little girl picked a basketful of apples and abouquet of autumn wildflowers, and she's been charming M.I. Hummel enthusiasts ever since. From 1972, when Autumn Harvest was first introducedin the United States, she's been an M.I. Hummel favorite - warming hearts with blonde pigtails and round cheeks that are almost as rosy as the apples in her basket. Originally sculpted by Gerhard Skrobek in 1963, Autumn Harvest has remained virtually unchanged. But now a major change - retirement - is at hand. On December 31, 2002, the molds will be broken and the figurine will never be produced again. So plan to add this treasure to your collection before her very last harvest.
