| This walking shoe incorporates many of Saucony's outstanding running shoe features. The grid heel cassette, made of cross filaments of Hytrel nylon, cradles the heel on impact to absorb shock. This rigid support helps prevent over pronation, keeping the foot in line through the forward motion of the gait cycle. A medial midsole post, constructed of a denser EVA material on the inside heel, further protects against over pronation. In the forefoot, an HRC (high rebound compound) provides ball-of-foot cushioning. Two removable insoles come with each pair - one offers a built-in support shell device imbedded in the heel, the second, enhances cushioning for the fast pace walker and those who need additional impact protection. An excellent stability shoe if your feet tend to roll inward when you walk. |
