Major facets on the carving blank are pre-cut to make it easy to start your carving. Included with this kit is a small plastic model that shows how the project should look when completed. This gives you the ability to look at a finished piece from any direction to help you "visualize" what your next cut should be. The model is purposely smaller than the finished piece so that you cannot "cheat" by measuring! (Illustration is of the "old shoe" project.)
