This table is an adaptation of an Early American 17th Century Trestle Board. The original piece is one of the rarest of its kind and is in the Metropolitan Museum collection. The design is typical of the sturdiness and simplicity reflected in furniture of this early period. Construction is not difficult and it can be made entirely of solid pine. Dimensions: 18" wide x 42" long x 16" high.
