Locate studs and joists with this fully automatic self-calibrating stud sensor. You know you've found the edge of the stud when you hear a tone and see a red LED indicator light. The DeepScan® feature lets you scan through walls, drywall, plywood, paneling and most flooring up to 1-1/2" thick (3.8 cm). The patented TruCal™ instant calibration makes it very easy to use—you'll never have to worry about calibration errors. This device is non-magnetic and it finds the studs, not the nails.
