Here is an easy-to-make type of Settee with solid wood ends. These Settles, while usually built of pine, were often made of oak and occasionally walnut. The hinged seat provides cover to an ample storage chest below. The flat back slats, together with the scrolled top and bottom rails and ends, add the quaint touch so often desired in Early American decor. Size: 38" long x 17" deep x 39-5/16" high.
