Canopy Bed Plan

This canopy bed has been designed after careful research to embody all the features desired in such a piece. Even the blanket rail found on many Colonial beds has been included. The posts are designed to be turned in sections in order to fit in the average home lathe. It may be made as either a twin or full size bed. The plan also includes full-size details of the arched canopy or tester frame. Omit the canopy if you prefer, and you have a beautiful 71-1/2" high Four-Poster bed. Height overall with the canopy frame is 80-1/2" high.
